What makes your items so special?
We feel that there are several reasons. First everything we sell is hand made in Pendleton Oregon USA. Second we work hard at upcycling materials to reduce carbon footprints and overall waste. Lastly we think our items are pretty tough and will last you a long time with minimal upkeep. You can be confident buying from us knowing we have the environment and product durability in mind.

Where does your rubber come from?
We harvest our rubber from tire stores all over the Pacific Northwest.

Why use rubber?
We have found that commercial rubber inner tubes can be turned into a lot of different items. We like that it is a tough material that can withstand a lot of abuse before it starts to deteriorate. We also like that we are helping our carbon footprint by saving tons of rubber that would have rotted away in a landfill.

Do you have the ability to personalize your koozies?
Yes, we have the ability to take any logo or design and turn it into an 100% embroidered patch where we can then add it to our hand forged koozies. Please contact us to discuss your needs.

Upcycling:  The process of converting waste materials or useless products into new materials or products of better quality or a higher environmental value.

Recycling: The collection and often reprocessing of discarded materials for reuse. For example collecting bottles, cans and cardboard for collection where they are broken down into raw materials.

Big Sears: This is the name Hubert affectionately called the landfill aka dump. He said he would find so many useful things that it was like working at a big Sears department store.
